I-485 RD = 07/13/2003

Still waiting for FP notices.

No fingerprints yet. Does any know what date they are issuing finger print notices? Is the date different for EB2 and EB3?

Received Fingerprint notice in late Feb ... completed on 03/24/04.

EAD and AP- Oct 03

I140 Approved

I have not recd any Finger printing notice as of date.
Have anyone recieved thier FP Notice from VSC after July 03 filing?

Also, I have completed over 180 days of I485, now would changing my home address be a concern? or would that be OK if I changed my Address, if I change the state, would my case be transfered to the concerned Center?

Also, is there a process that says that we cannot change address or employment till we get the 1st FP done etc?

Kindly let me know ASAP

I-485.. with RD 08/18/03
EAD/AP approved 10/06/03
I-140 approved on 12/09/03

Waiting on FP notice.

Since then I have changed my address. Does that affect the FP process?

How can I be sure after I changed my address over 1-800 # has been taken effect.

Is any one having the same situation and would like to share? Please respond.

gcmangta.. After I had changed my address I received a notification letter (3-4 weeeks) from bcis that the change has been implemented (I forget the wording of the letter but it came to my new address).

Thanks for your response. I was curious, how did you change your address? Did you call 1-800-375-5283? If any other means please let me know. I never received any communication from CIS since I changed my address.

That is the no. that I called. has it been a long time since you changed your address and not recd. any notification (>2 months). If so can you call and verify the change of address ??

I have posted this instruction that helped me when I was changing address. which may help other people also (although this may not be the app forum to post it)

1. Call the National BCIS Service Center: 1-800-375-5283, 8 am - 6pm,
Monday through Friday
2. Follow the prompts after choosing English or Spanish: press 1, then 2 to
change your address, then 1 again to be connected to an officer
3. Once you are connected to an officer, he/she will ask you a number of
questions (i.e. receipt number, A number, former address, current address,
country of birth, etc.) Please make sure to speak clearly and spell every
word/name for the officer as he/she will be inputting this into a computer.
This should take you about 20 minutes. If you have any dependent family
members that filed with you, you must also change their address at that
time.
4. In about 3-4 weeks, you should receive a confirmation in the mail that
your address was changed successfully.
 
140 and 485 filed on 06/26/03 and ND was 07/08/03.
140 approved on 04/09/04 but no FP yet.

I read on the forum that the online msg. does change indicating that FP notice was mialed.
