I just received ASC Code 1, one month ago I did Bio Code 2 any idea why?


ND March 01
RFI July 05
Biometrics Code2 Ago 05
Fingerprints Code 1 Oct 05



Help please if you know something I'm confused/scared...etc

I don't think there is anything wrong. At least you know your case is being looked at.

I just received another Biometrics. I just did it last month. 1-797C Notice of Action, isn't that the same as the first Biometrics I did? Whats the difference between first and second. Anyone has any idea?
 
Just follows what they said on the letter.

I did two biometircs, before RFI and after RFI.
I had no idea at that time. I called my lawyer right away, he said to me to just follow the instruction on the letter.
it's getting closer to GC as my lawyer said.

I hope , will explain to you.

Flashington,

Don't worry, It is just a normal procedure. I assume you've done F/P's last year, after 16 months they expire and USCIS send you request to do new. I received I-797C Code 1 today for Sep-27-05. I got my F/P's taken right away without any problems.

I did twice immigration physical exam...i submitted once when I applied for I-485. am waiting for BIO: now...I called NSC the customer servic said: they R working on 2000 cases and might another 2 years to be approved. any idea pliz thnx

I also got my 2nd FP done yest. (Code 1), but the LUD didnt reflect any change as of yet. Did it change in ur case ?

No, it did not change yet. I just checked my case status again, it is same as of 08-03-05.

Well on Monday I got Code 1 request. Of course when I saw the envelope I knew it wasn't, God forbid, the approval but some other crap.
Anyway, it was scheduled for next week - the only business trip out of town I have in years - so I went over there yesterday and rescheduled for this Saturday

While I was there, I asked them what code 1 meant, t hey said it's all 10 fingers, whereas code 2 is just your thumb. how is this related? No fucking clue, but I am sure they know what they are doing.

Yesterday, my 2nd best friend got approved - I am really happy for her as she really deserves it - but she submitted her GC two months after me, and the RFE (same as mine) last week. grrrrrrrrrr! What's up? :mad:

One good thing that came out of all this is that I started running - great way to get the anxiety out of your system (that and vodka, that is)

I think that if your real name is anything close to Abuhamza your background check takes longer. I know that because my name is something like that and my stuff is taking much longer than my wifes.

1) Name nothing like the one mentioned above

2) I drank way too much vodka since biometrics, but I believe it was in APril 05

how long after second fingerprint code 1

My mother's 10-finger fingerprints (I think it was code 1) just expired, USCIS just requested her to do it again. Does anyone know how much longer it is gonna take after Bio to get her GC? Both my dad and I have received it a couple of weeks ago. Any pointer is highly appreciated.

That's exactly what happened to me, I'm still waiting, let's see what happens to speedio he just did the fingerprints.

I had mine Code 2 done on July 9TH. Now I received another FP notice with code 1 For next week. Is this a joke????? :confused: I was granted asylum on Dec, 1999 Filed for 485 on Dec 2000.
I've noticed some other fellow granted on 2001 & received their GC where else
mine is still pending. Any idea??????????? : :D :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

Nothing happened my friend, I did fingerprints again and guess what? Nothing.
Not even changes in the LUD.
