finally INS approved my 485

Hey Guys,
I checked my online status now.It said my case has been approved on March 5th .Finally got it after waiting for a long time(app-510 days).Thankx for all of your support...
All the best for other 485 waiters...u`ll be approved soon.

AD 03/05/2003.

congrats. mind telling me what do you mean by RD and AD? so it takes more than a year before you get approved for 485? does that mean you get a GC now?
 
Rd - Receipt date,AD- approval date.MIne took almost 1 1/2 yrs...
but anyway it depends upon one`s luck

I have been waiting since Sept 2001. Recently got an RFE.

REcvd by INS on MAr 07 2003.

Question if you could answer about your case.
1 ) Did you query about your case with IIO after you responded to RFE? ( Trying to get an idea if querying adversly affect the case )

2) IS it generally taking them 3 months to adjiducate an RFE case? (or is it luck )

3) What was your RFE?

Sorry to ask so many question.
 
The INS asked me for 3 months pay stub & employment letter.
I did call the IIO last month since it took a long time.They simply said that my case was pending..Anyhow one should `ve luck.... :confused:
