Filing N-400 application: hire attorney or do-it-yourself?

Is there any advantage to having a lawyer fill out the application and file it? Lawyers charge an arm and a leg to do this (why?) so I\'d rather do it ourselves. Understanding the instructions is not a problem for me, but maybe there are "secret" tips that lawyers are aware of?
