Family Petition Being Revoked

Appreciate guidance, like experience on with I-730 (Refugee/Asylee relative petition). I received a note today from the overseas USCIS center saying that my petition has been RETURNED to Nebraska service center with a RECOMMENDATION FOR REVOCATION.

My petion got approved in Apr 2008 and my family interviewed in June 2008. This is the first status update i received after numerous attempts.

I have been told by Customer Service to wait till 60 days for a letter explaining the situation.

1. Any ideas on why my petition was revoked?
2. Do I have any due course or have to wait till I receive the letter

Thank you.

There is nothing you can really do until you receive the letter.

The petition was not revoked yet. You will receive a notice of intent to revoke which you will have time to answer with legal arguments or additional evidence.

Probably they think your claimed spouse is not your legal spouse and/or your child[ren] are not your real children. You may need to submit DNA from yourself and your children or need to get more evidence that your spouse was legally married to you and has not legally married another person since the time you married him/her.
