Hello,
I just recently applied I-130 for my wife under F2A.
I live in Texas, I was wondering if anyone knew why the case would transfer from lockbox to California instead of Texas service Center.
Is there a system they use to transfer different ppl to different service center?

Any F2A petitioner please feel free to join this conversation. We can all share our experience and help each other out.
Does any one know why we get a priority date now w/o approval?
I remember when I applied for my own a few years back, they don't print a priority date no the receipt notice. They only printed it when it is approval.
Did you change the rule?
Here is what mine look like

Notice Date: 8-20-2010.
Received Date: 8-13-2010.
Priority Date: 8-13-2010.

And on the bottom it says:
Please note that if a Priority date is printed on this notice, the priority does not reflect earlier retained priority date.
 
I haven't yet received notice in mail. But receive date of I-130 is actually the priority date and if it is printed on receipt specifically as PD, then it is good. You are fine.
