Do you know if the US embassy in Osaka accepts F1 visa application?
I have done the online application and even booked an appointment with them. I am not a Japanese citizen, nor reside in Japan. I am going there for a singing competition which is only 2 days, but I will stay for around 5 working days (just to give them more time to process my application).
My F1 visa has expired and i have a current updated I-20. I am a Chinese citizen, but a permanent resident of Manila philippines, and am currently studying in Boston.
I saw a line on their website saying Osaka branch may not process all applications and to refer to the Tokyo branch.
To make an inquiry either by email or phone is ridiculously 25 dollars each time. I tried calling the osaka branch (no payment one), and the operator doesn't have a good command of english and directed me to the machine operator 3x!!! and I was calling internationally from Boston.
PLEASE HELP!!!! im so frustrated..
