F1 visa

Hello sir,

My questions is -

If a 15 yr old indian girl has a VISITOR visa to the US, and she wants to come to the US for a summer program, does she need to forego her VISITOR visa to get the F1 OR can she keep her VISITOR visa and apply for her F1 simultaneously ?

Is the F1 visa school specific, in that can she use this F1 to go to another program in the subsequent year?

For F1 you need to proceed through school. Once you get I 20 only you can take up program. Applying for two different visas would definitely be questioned.
