F1 to Immigrant visa

Hi,

My fiancée is applying for F1 visa at the end of this year. In case if she is denied F1 then in future will it have any adverse affect while applying for the immigrant visa for her based on the marriage to US citizen?

Please advise. I will gretly appreciate your help.

If you're already a citizen and you have a date for your wedding, why doesn't she just get a K-1?

K-1 is also an option I am working upon.

As per my understanding, K-1 takes almost same time to process (4-6 months) as when applying for immigrant visa married to US citizen.

Due to some family situations/problems, I can not wait 5-6 months to process immigrant visa and have to bring my fiancee(spouse) right after the marriage....Student visa seems like an easier option..though I am in the dilema due to the risk involved with the F1 visa.

Can someone advise which is the best option...K1 or F1..

I will really consider that advise and will appreciate your help.
