Entering canada after left for 1/2 year

Hi, I am a canada PR, and I left Canada a bit less than 6 months ago. I am thinking of coming back to Canada next week. Provided that the fact that I did not stay in Canada for the past 1/2 year, will the immigration officer give me any trouble when I come back (entering in toronto)? Does anyone has the similar experience?

they will ask you at the airport ..how long since you left

at that time tell the truth and prepare to back it up with travel
records.
even if you drive from buffalo, they will ask you the same question.

I drove through buffalo and niagara and also flew in at pearson
but at all times I had been out of canada for less than 2-3 weeks
so they just waved me thru.
