Eligibility date to apply for US citizenship

Hello All,

I got Green card (in 2007) through my employer and became US citizen in Jan 1 2013.

I applied Green card for my wife when I was NOT a US citizen. She got her Green Card on March 1 2013.

When earliest(with 90 day rule), will my wife be eligible to apply for US citizenship?

I think she should wait until Jan 1 2016 (3 years after you became a citizen). The continuous residence requirement is the only requirement that she can be 90 days away from meeting; all the other conditions must have been met when she applies. It's not clear whether the married for 3 years to a U.S. citizen requirement is part of the continuous residence requirement or not.
