Also please let me know if I have to really revalidate my visa at this point of time as I hear horror stories of people getting stuck in the administrative processing crap. My situation here is...
- I have my current stamp valid till May 5 2005.
- My current 797 is valid till Nov 2006.
- I am planning for a trip to India in April 2005 and have a revalidation appointment on April 13th 2005. I have my return ticket to the US before the expiry of my current stamp. Planning to be back to the US before the end of April 2005.
Given these scenarios...
- Is it possible for me to do the revalidation earlier than the current visa stamp's expiry date?
- Is it possible for me to come back to the US using my old valid stamp before it's expiry in case the revalidation people gives any trouble?
- Do I have to really do the revalidation now? Will it be a good thing to do if I just go on a vacation and don't do the stamping at this time given all these administrative processing crap?
Please advice.
