EAD Timeline Original

Just had fingerprint today

I went to San Francisco FP office today since I made an appointment 42 days before, and this is the earliest time they have as I had been told. I wish I read this thread long ago so as least I would try to walk in for a FP.

Here are is my timeline:
Send Form June 11, 2005
Arr Center June 14, 2005 (post office told me)
RD June 16, 2005
ND June 28, 2005
FP August 16, 2005

I actually have 2 job waiting for me, is there any suggestion when I will get my EAD?

Rfe

I had received an RFE for I693 on 7/11.

following is my time line.

I485/I765/I130 - RD 5/17
ND 06/09
FP and Bio 06/27
RFE 7/11
replied to RFE for I-693 form on 08/04
got an update of having reeceived I693 on 08/12

Does any one has any idea how long it will take to receive the EAD now.

I have a job in hand and am supposed to join from 1st september.
Hi,
For all people that got an RFE, there is a new thread that updates the status of their EAD. The thread is called EAD timeline after RFE. We only have two cases so far with approved EAD after RFE, and it seems it is taking 60-65 days for approval from ND date.

If I am applying for jobs and if I am expecting my EAD (when applied for GC through marriage to USC) in two weeks, can I indicate that I am a permanant resident? Indicating that would increase my chances of getting a job right but at the same time I wont have the GC until jan.

You can start looking for a job. Show the employer your I797 for I485 and I765. You should get your EAD within three months so that should not pose a problem.

Many of us have used this information to guide us during EAD process. I believe we're all deeply thankful for his kindness and generosity.
Unfortunately, he’s no longer able to update this table at all time as he said in first page on August 7th, 2005. BTW, I hope he will help us from time to time if available.
So I use his table to quote/re-quote/copy/paste at my own discretion.
I have no intension to steal or else. All in all is just only to make it available for everybody.
Any errors happen in here please feel free to add your input.
Thank you

Thank you prk770s for taking the initiative. This table has helped a lot here. zoomz00m is pretty busy these days and havent seen him in a while and isnt replying to PM's either. I dont think he would mind you taking over his table.

P.S: Is there a way you could get permission from the moderator to edit zoomz00m's first post with the original table? This way, one does not have to search for this table when it could be maintained in the first post.

Keep up the good work.

FP update (LUD)

Dear all,
I have an important question for those of you who already got EAD approval. Did all of you get a LUD (FP received) after you did your FP and Biometrics? I did my FP 6/25/05 but there was no update regarding that since the receipt of my application LUD notice on 6/28/05. Is this normal or shall I be concerned? Did any of you get their EAD approved without having an FP update on your case?
How do you know that your FP and Biometrica have been received, if there is no LUD on your case?

Thanks
-------------------------------------------------------------
I-485/I-765 mailed on 5/13/05
RD: 5/17/05
ND: 6/16/05
FP: 6/25/05 (walk in)
RFE: 7/20/05
RFE received by USCIS: 8/4/05 (which is the same date of the last LUD on I-485 application)
Last LUD on I-765 application 6/28/05

Well my EAD has been approved without any update on I-485 or I-765 about the fingerprints being received. I see that you have an RFE that is what causing the delay for your approval.
Except RFE our dates are exactly the same.

It is not mandatory to get your EAD once 90 days is over. You need it if you want to work. I believe customer service people has the same information as you can have by accessing the internet. Therefore saying you will receive an information soon -- is a random gesture. So it depends on you what you want to do.
And I believe they update the website the next day they approve the EAD.
That was the case in my situation/
thank you

Just wanted you know zoomzoom that my EAD was approved on the 15th of August but i still went and got my interim EAD for two months whilst I wait for the real one to arive, the security men were so nice and even the lady that gave me the Temporary one was so nice, we just talking about stuff outside what I came there for.

ari4u, thanks for your input and suggest. In order to change zoomzOOm's table, I have to have his password. Therefore, I prefer not to touch the table in the front page.
It cross my mind that many times in here we usually told people to go back to first page and check for their timeline. The fact is people always check the last page, the most updated post, but missing to check the first one. Why don't we just post the most updated table each page of this thread, don't you think?
Of course, I'm aware of that it could become trash post at last.

spatan: After reading your post, I added "NBC Processing Line" to above table. Hope this will highlight people above the line that they are in the process of approving. And you are absolutely the next in line. Be patient!! :)

Again, this table was first created by zoomzOOm from responses around this forum. I use his table to quote/re-quote/copy/paste at my own discretion. I have no intension to steal or else. All in all is just only to make it available for everybody.

The moderator could help you with this. Im not sure how this forum administration works, but the moderator could help you by giving ownership and editing rights for this thread. This way, you can use your username to edit anyone's post on this thread (its like being a moderator to this thread). (OR) Easiest way is to start a new thread.

Copying over the table to every post makes the thread cluttered and gives room to a lot of redundant data. I suggest you have a poll to see what the users here prefer to see. Personally i like zoomz00m's idea of editing the first post and maintaining it in one place instead of reposting or copying the table in every post whenever it is updated.

Thanks for your effort.

Hi Kilonzi,
I know you got an RFE a while ago, anything new with your case?
Can you remind me of your timeline so that I can post it on the other thread that I created for people with RFE?

just-married, thank you for the reply. It took away a lot of my worrying :)

Hi optmo,
Haven't heard anything but I think you might hear sooner than I will. I sent my medical back just last week and they haven't updated my Website yet saying that they received my medical. I hope we will see the end of this sooner than later.

Here is my timeline again..

I-485/I-765/I-131 mailed on 5/5/05
RD: 5/10/05
ND: 6/3/05
FP: 6/27/05
RFE: 7/08/05 ( for medical)
RFE sent to USCIS: 8/16/05

Good luck!!

Does this timeline apply to EAD renewals as well? I just sent my renewal application (after some confusion about which center to send it to, which cost me time), and the USPS receipt date is Aug 17. My EAD expires on Nov 1. Will I make it?

My LUD changed to Aug. 12th. I hope this means good news.

slightly off topic:
Man. I'm right below the cut-off in the table. DAMN, just my luck. Well, more waiting for me. sigh.
