Does Any one got the EAC number through lottery

I had filed for i 539 as i am on h4 in march 1st week and i received a receipt number on march 22 ..
after that on april 2nd i filed for h1 and on april 13 thats after the random selection process i got a mail from uscis
Application Type: I539, APPLICATION TO EXTEND OR CHANGE NONIMMIGRANT STATUS
Current Status: We mailed you a notice requesting additional evidence.
what does that mean and i have not got any mail form uscis till now nor my attorney has got any mail ..
my doubt is .. is this any thing related to my h1 or related to h4 status

You can't really take it that way. They are slow in process. One of my friend's company applied in regular processing and check got cleared today. But EAC number on the back of the check is not clear.
