Do I have to apply for another I140 if I change jobs after 2 years on EAD for change of job

I am sorry to ask this question but even after going through the AC21 details I do not understand if I should apply for an I140 after changing to a new empoloyer. I know for sure that we have to send a letter of employment, a detail of the job being performed and the salary from the new employer. I sthis enough or do I have to still apply for a new I140.

I should have also added that I have been on EAD for the past 2 years so I am well beyond 180 days

As per my understanding, AC 21 addresses this issue of switching
cos. after 180 days. So u shd be fine, since u have already worked
for 2 years on EAD ( unless u want to re-start ur GC process all over again with new company ).

Perhaps more knowledgable members on this board can throw light on ur case.
