Dependent visa advice needed

Hi,
I am currently on H1 visa (non-profit organization i.e. cap exempt), my wife is on H4 visa (my dependent). Her H4 visa is valid till October 2010. This year I got new H1 approved (profit organization i.e. within cap), now do I need to apply for my wife’s status change (from my current employer H4 to new employer H4). Kindly suggest me the options.

Her H4 status is tied to your valid H status and as long as you maintain a valid H status her H4 will stay valid (until expiration). Her H4 visa is valid until Oct 2010 and need not be renewed at this time as long as you don't forget to renew it before it expires.
