An NJ based consulting firm XYZ has filed my h1 visa.I am waiting for INS approval.What concerns me about company XYZ is that they did not give me any offer letter before deciding to file my h1. I am worried if this is a LEGAL thing to do??Are they not suppossed to give an offer letter, a signed copy of which is required by the INS for visa filing? I am in urgent need of this information. Thanks in advance.
