Dec 2002 RD filers waiting for FP2

Quite a number of Dec, Jan and Feb 02 filers have got their FP2 s. I think LUD of most of these people changed in June 04.

My LUD too changed on 06/14/04 but no movements thereafter. LUD change means some processing. Seems like my file is assigned to a lazy officer or fallen off his table.

1. Any body else in the club? :confused:
2. Any Idea when we will get FP2 ? :confused:
3. Are we going to get approved without FP2 ? :)
Or
Is it going to be a loooooooong wait like some of the Nov/Dec 2001 filers? :eek:

I am also waiting for FP2. My RD is 12/05/02.
 
Dont worry I just got mine done and there are others who still havent gotten it. You will recieve it any day now.

Still waiting for FP2. Already called twice to VSC requesting them to send FP2 notice. So far no movement in my case. Planning to apply for my 3rd EAD and AP. hope this might trigger some movement in my case.

Saw a couple approvals for 12/2002 RD's on Rupnet. But those guys got their FP2 in mid-July.

I haven't received any FP2 notice either. And my LUD is 06/16/2004.

That is my question. LUD of some of the Dec 2002 filers changed in June and they got FP2. Our LUDs also changed but never got FP2. For some reason our files are left out. My fear is we might be left out like some of the Dec 01 or Jan 02 for some time ?. Let us hope not. But what could be the next possible trigger for some action on our files. :confused:
 
Seems like not many Dec 2002 RD filers who have not received FP2 ?.
Just curious to know.

Just got my FP2 notice today. My LUD hasn't changed though. My appointment date is 10/05 or a subsequent Wednesday.

I thought I read a post, which said we could go for fingerprinting even before the appointment date. Is that true?

Lucky You. Great. I too have seen posts some people have gone for FP before the appoinment date. Please keep us posted on the progress.
 
My FP2 appointment was for 10/05. I went in today and got it done. There was just one other person before me, and they didn't give me any grief. In and out in < 1/2 hr!

Why did we miss the boat ?

Does anybody have any idea as to why we were left out from being sent FP2? :confused: Why did we miss the boat? :confused: . Most of Dec and Jan 2002 RD had their LUD changed in June 04 and then they got either an RFE or FP2. Then some of them got approved in Aug and Sep.

I wonder if the reason is my new address. Same employer but my new address comes under NSC. Then again I have seen similar cases getting approved in centers where they originally filed.

Any thought will be consoling :)

As my prevous postings, I suggest to call the USCIS regularly untill you get
confirmation letter about your address change.
Like call USCIS, wait for 1 month.
If you didn't receive call again.
This will defenetely trigger something to your case.
Also if you didn't get FP2 , send a status enquiry by yourself atleast.

USCIS won't approve cases unless fingerprinting results are with in 15 months time.
If you see approval, in some cases, its their luck or the adjusticator over seeing it.
 
Thanks Sri0009. I think you are right. My lawer says everything is alright all the time I call him. But seems like there things to be done beyond the book.
 
My address change over phone triggered FP2

Hi RD:
I was having the same problem as you. An FP2 was not generated for a long time. I then called for a change of address over phone. 2 days later I got my FP2. I live at San Jose, CA and my case is filed in VSC.
