there has been almost NO progress by CSC in the last few months. What is going on ? There has been no public announcements too.

Modereators, Lawyers, Friends, fellow victims what is going on ?

anyone ????????

I don't think it has anything to do with EB3 Visa issue.
Very snail progress in last 2 months. (Well, 2 month doldrum
is nothing in terms of GC times).
CSC used be the fastest center but not now.
TSC has June and July 2005 in 140/485 processings while
CSC is stuck in April 2005 RD.

I observed the same thing. Can we do something proactively? Its virtually at standstill for last 2 months.
Before the situation deteriorates we must spread the word around to prevent a repeat of previous situation (some time back I believe 18 months -24 months was pretty standard time for CSC FOR 485 PROCESSING)

I dont think it has anything to do with EB3 retrogression either. Should we write to Rajeev Khanna ? Can anyone find out something from their lawyers ?

Noone has mentioned CSC (murthy etc) lately. Its slowly but surely slipping quietly. We need to make some noise. But I'm a newbie. Is there a precedent of any action taken earlier and what was the outcome ?

No visa numbers are available for EB3 till Oct 2005. Only after oct 2005, will we start seeing some movement (hopefully). Please read http://murthy.com/nflash/nf_081105.html

I don't think we're talking about EB3 visa issue here.
General slowing down at CSC is happenning. For example,
June, July filers are getting reciept notice 1 month after
mailing. People who filed after April are not getting
FP notices. And most people are not getting online
status until they make e-mail inquiry.

Someone posted a link to a law firm's news letter that says
CSC is working on their database and system and it could delay
various GC steps indefinitely. That explanation makes
most sense to me right now. I wished it did not happen
when I read that letter but that news letter makes a lot of
sense now, unfortunately....

Good observation fdfd. One would expect faster process for EB2's & EB1's since EB3's are on a hold for a short while (due to lack of whatever...) but on the contrary the processing has slowed down considerably. I'm thinking there might be multiple things to blame like System Updates, Process Updates & PERM updates. Whatever they are doing, I hope its all worth the wait.
