Please add any new CSC I-485 approvals to this thread. Post only approvals to this thread so that it can be used (kind of data/summary tracking) to see recent approvals.

If you see any CSC I-485 approval any where on this board please post it to this thread with all the info (if it is not already posted to this thread). Please follow below guidelines while posting.
1. In the subject line, give it running serial number, member name (that got approved), and the subject line.
2. Entire text of their approval message (cut and paste including headers)
3. Please also provide a Link to that aproval thead/post (it helps a lot in maintaining summary as well as users can goto that thread to ask questions).


Also refrain from any other discussion (apart from just posting CSC I-485 approvals) in this thread so that we can keep it clean.

Finally got approval notices for me and my spouse today. Case details :

3 EADS, 3 APs.
Receipt date : Feb 6th/2002

Send fax inquiries through congressman/senators
Finally got RFE on 7.2.04 .
RFE received on 19th July
case approved on 8.2.04.
LUD: 5/4< 5/29 < 7/2 < 7/19 < 7/26 < 8/2 ...

A few word of thanks to Rajeev S Khanna for making such a brave and gallant class action against USCIS and for hosting this forum. Thanks to Kashmir for his great contribution to this community and sticking around even after getting his approval.

Thanks to Sillyman, PC_gee,140_takes_4ever etc and all the other senior members and moderators in this forum. This forum has been such a great source for information for all of us.

I will go ahead and submit my contribution to immigrationportal.org today.

I cannot believe my eyes. I-485 approved CSC.

Details:
EB2, Non-concurrent

Labor filed 3/01, approved 03/02
I-140 RD 04/02 approved 04/03
I-485 RD 09/03 approved 08/04!

No RFEs nothing.

I hope my case is not an exception and others with similar time frames
get approved soon!

I got approval today(08/04/04). i am a dependent applicant, my spouse got approved on june 18th 2004.

Hello Everyone,
Just got 8 (!) emails form USCIS (2 for each applicant).
We have all been approved . Looking forward for the early AM visit to USCIS for passport stamping ;-)
The gut wrenching wait is finally over!!!!

My case and my wife's case have been approved today. Got the emails this morning around 11 CST. The email says the following...

This case has been approved. On August 5, 2004, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.

My lawyer got the same email notification.

Non-concurrent EB2 filed in September 2002.Did my 2nd FP July 14th 2004. Status changed on July 16th to "received FP results...". My LUD changed on the 16th and then it changed only today.

This forum has been a great help in this journey. I would like to thank everyone involved with this.

I hope there won't be anymore negative surprises with the actual notice or the stamping.I can't take it anymore.Already sacrificed a lot for this..

One question though, my wife is in India currently. Would she run into any problems coming back?Does she need a photocopy of the approval (if I get it by then)?

I have been a silent visitor to this fantastic forum for the past 5 yrs.

My immigration experience has seen a lot of ups and downs - I moved to US during the Internet boom on a H4 in March 99, got a job in a month, but had to wait 9 painful months b'cos of the H1 cap... hung in there, got a break into the Big 3 of IT, slogged it out, ran into layoffs that stopped GC processing in my company... my LC was about to be rejected, when there were similar positions in my location that opened up and a rebuttal was sent to the LC RFE. Made it thru'... did a concurrent I140/I485 and visited Immigrationportal.com everyday for the past 2 years.

When I saw the email in the morning, of an approval, 5 years of pain, uncertainity and insecurity began to heel. So, I had to ask myself a simple question:

Q: Was it worth the pain?
A: As a person who never yearned for immigrating to US (as opposed to my wife), I would say it was *definitely* worth it. The sad part is that the immigration system takes a pound of flesh from every immigrant... and maybe thats just the way the world is...

Finally got approval emails for me , spouse and kid . Looks like they just updated the DB , like some other ppl got the emails just now .thanks for all ppl who provided information when required and all those who shared there info. This is a such great site and i am not going away from this place even after approval. It is like a ritual to come here evryday read ppl's views , frustrations , fights , just like a big family. Special thanks to Mr Khanna for providing this site.

Marriage certificate + birth certificate ( provided hindi certificate with translation done from my coworker and noterrized ) approved 5 august.
