COS to B2

Hello Nelsona/ TN1 community

Please advise/ provide guidance as this community has been the great source since i started the journey here.
I am applying for COS from TN1 (within 60 day grace period) to B2 via I 539

-Do i need to attach a separate sheet and explain why i need the extension. Should this be a cover letter or an attached sheet? I have home to sell etc. What explanation should i provide?
- What documents do need to attach ( copies of passport, I94, Pay stubs?). Please advise
- The max extension i can take for B2 is 6 months but in some service centres they are processing May 2017. Do i need to leave after 6 months of applying or wait till case is finalized?
- How many days early than the grace period of 60 days should i apply?

I really need to sort this out and need help. Please guide.

Hi,

I really need help for these clarifications. please reply as you are familiar here with these technicalities. One small/ minor error can make me out of status. Thats why I am so stressed out.

I was reading the instructions for the form I539 and it mentioned who can use the i 539 and it mentioned that it can be used by dependents of TN1 and said nothing about the TN1 status holder. Please clarify.

I really need help. Please help to in these clarifications.
