Company Merger.. answers please!

Any one with past experience of Company Merger and CP please respond.

Does one need to file amended I-140 if the sponsoring company merges with another company. It is a "Successor-In-Interest" type of Merger.

immihelp.com says it is not required if its a "Successor-In-Interest" type of merger. my consulate is chennai and am expecting july interview date.

Same situation

I am in a similar situation. I have my interview on Juen 26th @ chennai. My lawyer says no amended I-140 is required (I am not so sure). So, I am going without amended I-140 (worst case I will be stuck in India - scary). Let\'s see what happens...

Depends on your case...

If its a Successor-in-Interest type you should be fine if u take all proper documentation with u. What additional docs. are you taking ?

Did u talk(email) to NVC or Chennai about your case and what have they said ?
