Colleagues I140 Approved

Just to let the other anxious people out there :

One of my colleague's I140 got approved a couple of days back.

RD: Sept 24
Category: EB3
Subs LC
No RFE recd.

Waiting for mine : RD Oct 15.

Others please post if you have any info on approvals...that helps.

This is great news..atleast they are moving along. Just a couple of questions.

1) Was this a EB2 or EB3?

2) Was this a straight forward case where the employee matched all the requirements of the LC perfectly, or he had to get an evaluation done for his educational credentials. If evaluation, do you have any details? Like 3 year degree + NIIT or 3 year degree and US college course work etc?

Oops, did not read it was a EB3.

Just would like to know if the case was straight forward or needed some evals etc done.
 
It was EB3.
As far as I know - it was a good match...not sure about evaluation done or otherwise...will ask and post a reply soon.

I just hope others keep us informed too....

Can you please give a little more details details about your case?

1) EB2 or EB3
2) Straight forward match..like requires BS in CS and you have BS in CS or something related? Did you require a Edu Eval?

EB3 labor subs
Have MS in CIS, require BS in CS/EE/CE or related.
 
Subs LC - my details

Hi Obsoza,

For mine, it was BS or equivalent - which I have, and some other reqs...there was no separate Edu Eval done - but what was done for my H1/LC (I dont know which) - I saw some papers saying that the BE was equivalent to BS.

You are now first in the line, 9th Oct...please keep us posted.
