My wife case has been transferred to the Chicago local office. Does anyone have any idea what is the processing time for this office?

Hi Pulo. Is there anything unique about your case. Does your wife has a different last name. Or did you get married after your 485 started.

As for the local office I believe they are processing August 2002 cases at Chicago.

Pelase let me know as I could be in the same boat.

Same boat

Dependent case transferred to local Chicago office.

Primary case was approved last week ...just found out dependent case transferred. I guess the reason for transfer is we got married 3 months before applying for I485.

Lets all hope for speedy approvals!!
