Hi,
I am a Canadian citizen married to a US citizen. When I applied about a month and a half ago for a green card, my wife who is the USC used her maiden name (since she never changed her name legally).
We now would like to change her last name to mine so that when she gives birth in a couple of months, the babies name will be registered under our married last name...
Would this cause any problem with future interviews or anything else?
Also off topic question, is there any post here explaining all the different abbreviations for the status of applications? (I'm trying to figure out what people signatures mean, but not quite sure about all the codes...)
Thanks in advance, Chaim
