change of processing center fron Vermont to Nebraska, any suggestion?

Hi, Recently, my permanent residency petition was approved by INS Vermont center on the EB-2 category (NEW). I filed the petition one year ago while I was doing my degree. Now I am working in Mid west. I think that I may need to file I-485 to Nebraska center. My question is : what is the procedure for the processing? ( I just file I-485 and Nebraska center takes care of the document transfer or they do not need do that, will this incur delay in the processing?). What is the best approach to this kind of situation?

Any input is gratefully appreciated.
