Chances of risk (H4 & AP)

Friends:

My wife has a valid H4 valid till 2005. She has an EAD, but not using it.

What are the chances of risk if she travels on H4, without having AP?

Is AP must, when having a valid H4?

If she has valid H4 visa stamp in the passport she can come back to US with H4 visa stamp it is not must that she has to use AP, getting EAD AP are different

in the same scenario, my wife was on h4 but now she got her h1 approved in US and will be getting the EAD and AP within 2 months.

if she has to travel to india, can she come back to us with AP incase if she doesnt use the EAD? AP is only applicable only when we use the EAD?
or
she has to get stamped new h1 visa before she enter us?

Ur wife can use AP or has to get H1 stamped in the passport.
It is not necessary for ur wife to use EAD, in order to enter US with AP.

AP is a must if u use EAD.
If u dont use EAD - u can use either use AP or ur H1 stamp.

right now she is on h1 status but with h4 stamping valid till december 2004.
If she uses AP to get back to US, without getting the h1 stamping in India ,what is her status after she reach US?

H1 status or EAD status or H4 status?
