So excited to say that the pain and angony is over! The GREEN CARD arrived today! It doesnt expire til 2018 but by then my husband will be a citizen anyway! I'm thrilled!

Does anyone mind telling me if he can go to the Social Security office and get a new social security card that doesnt have the restriction on it for work?

Is there anything else we should do now that the card came?

Yes. He needs to go to the SSA and get them to remove the legend.
