I filed for my I-751 in October and am done with biometrics. However, just the other day I was on phone with USCIS customer service and he told me that I-751 applications are not put in their online system. I thought that was weird, and today I tried checking my case status online on USCIS website by putting in the receipt number on my "I-797, Notice of Action" (that states that my resident status is extended for one year), but again it said my case cannot be found.
Is it because I was one of those people who filed to VSC but their case was transferred to CSC? Because I have read on this site that other folks were able to check their status online and even signed up for e-mail/text notifications.
Any help is appreciated!
