Hi all,

I am an Indian working in US on H1 visa. have applied for the Canadian PR and got the Canadian landing papers with expire date of June 2001.My employer in US wants to apply for green card. With the new law and H1B bill S.2045 approved my employer says that I can stay for more than six years even though I was in the middle of the green card process.

Under these circumstances what do you suggest?

1)Is it Possible to maintain both H1B and Canadian PR Status until my 140
approves(about 1 year)?
2)Does Canadian immigration will have any impact on US green card?
 Immigration?
3)Can I go to Canada and come back to US after landing as Canadian PR?
(So that I can Have 183 days to work in US)
4)Can I apply for Canadian Returning Resident Permit without landing?
Will this be Possible?
5)Can I be eligible to reapply for Canadian immigration if I have any problems with US green card(in the worst case) if I dot land now?
6)Do I need to submit I-94 if I want to land and comeback within a week?
7)Perhaps I have my H1 and visa stamped in passport valid till June 2003.

Your Inputs are Highly Appreciated.

Thanks
Naveen
