You just need the Green Card, not passport, not RTD.

Cl_Asylee said:If you are going to Canada through USA and coming back directly from Canada to USA you do not need neither a RTD nor a passport. GC is enough.

I just came back from Canada, just to let you know that I strongly recommend to travel with passport or RTD, I had "hard" time both ways, asking for a passport, I just had the GC, mainly because I didn't wanted to renew my NP and didn't want to spend the money of the RTD.sbernal said:I have personally traveled to Canada by air. To get back into the U.S you only show your green card.

Canadian and US IOs asked for the passport and they told me that I should be travelling with it, at the end both ways let me in but is scary, you know that feeling.

None of the Canadian consulates I found online will have a Visa Information Telephone Number or any information about visa for USA Refugees/Asylees.
Has any RTD (NOT GC) holders here acquired Canadian Visa?
If so, what is the process, and documents required?
Thank you very much.
