can i travel out of country after applying for citizenship

Hi,


I applied for citizenship, just about to go for finger printing.
I can travel for a month when my citizenship application is in process?
I'm in sanjose,california. I dont know how long it will take the process.
I have to go to india in jan 2008. in worst case if my application process is not complete by then, Can I leave the country?

Yes you can travel during all stages of your N-400 processing. Just make sure someone checks your mail regularly.
