can i still emigrate to the us with a medical problem

hi there i am new on this site,i live in the uk and i come in the category of non admissible due to a medical issue but i have seen somewhere that it says that you can get a medical waiver,my parents were born in the uk,but emigrated to the us 16 yrs ago they have both become us citizens now,will that mean i can emigrate or am i just wasting my time any response would be grateful thanks paul
