Can I partition for my mother?

I am a foreign born woman who married a US Citizen 5 years ago. I am now a US Citizen myself. I would like to partition for my mother to come to the United States. Can somebody tell me how long the paperwork would take. I've heard that it takes 3 years and I've heard it takes 10 years. Can you clarify for me? Thank you.

hi there, congratulation on becoming a U.S citizen. actually u can petition and bring ur mother to the U.S cuz she would be in the immediate family category.and the process takes at least 7months depending on the states u living in,good luck
