I am on a H1B with a priority date of OCt 2009 (EB3), and I have the opportunity of applying for the E-2 visa. If this happens and the E-2 is approved, can I keep my priority date? and once the priority date is current, what steps do i need to follow (and how much time) to obtain the Green card?
