Can EAD holder work as ?

Hi Guys,

As an EAD holder, can I start business and run it as long as I keep working at my sponsor company with same job description?

I'm not intending to change the job but planning to start a business or find another part-time job.

Yes, with an EAD that was obtained in relation to an I-485, you can work a side job or start your own company as long as you keep working for the sponsoring company or at least have an ongoing job offer to work for the sponsor when the GC is approved. However, that additional employment will invalidate your H1/L1 status.
 
Is it still OK for any job ?

I mean, could part-time job or additional business be anything ?
Am I still limited to work as similar to job description ?
 
As long as you still have a main job or job offer with the original sponsor, or with another employer in a "same or similar" job according to AC21, the extra job or additional business can be anything (except illegal stuff or jobs that are for US Citizens only ... however note that almost no private sector jobs can legally be US Citizens only, even if they put that in the ad).
