I have filed for 2yr HRR waiver (I-612)based in hardship to USC child way back; have DOS favourable recommendation and COS to H1 since. The USCIS hasn't sent final approval, instead has forwarded my case to local INS office. Went there and they say that they are going to invite me for an interview. Has anyone else heard of an interview for hardship waivers?
