bvisa for senior citizen parents visiting for convocation

Hello,

I am a student completing my Master's from US. This is my last semester, and I wanted to invite my parents before I graduate in December. I can completely support my parents since I've been working as an intern.

My parents are senior citizens. My mother and father are 65 and 66 respectively. I wanted to know if there's any provision by which they can submit their visa application through a drop box. It would be very tough on my parents to stand in long queues.

Also I wanted to know if they would be able to get the 10 year multiple entry visa owning to the fact that they are senior citizens. I was wondering if my being a student could cause some problems, if so then I would encourage them to apply only when I get a H1B visa.

Please help me clear my doubts.

Thanks.
