Boston Timeline + Passport

Just got my passport from the Boston Passport office today (made an appointment for expedited processing last week). Some points to note:

- They are very picky about photos - I had to have mine redone at a photo place across the street
- You need to show an itineriary - it doesn't have to be a paper ticket, just something with a departure date
- Pickup time depends on departure date (i.e. if you leave tomorrow, then you can pick it up today)
- The passport is RFID-enabled
- Make sure you have your confirmation number (you get it when you make the appointment)
- You will need one additional form of ID in addition to the naturalization certificate (drivers license is fine)

FYI, here is my total timeline -
Submitted: Sept 15
Fingerprinted: Oct 3
Interview Notice: First week of Nov
Interview: Dec 20
Oath: Jan 8
Passport: Jan 9

Less than 4 months to get citizenship and passport, you make folks in other regions jealous! But congratulations my friend!
Now you need to change your net-name!

My face was too big :)

The photos were the right size, but way too close up. They have a template (transparent plastic sheet) that they put on top of your photo - if your face is bigger than the outline on the template, they won't accept the photo.
