Being temporarily stopped by police do not need to be disclosed right?

Example, you can be pulled over by police when you speeding but the cop may decide to let you go without giving your a written ticket. I don't think
you need to disclose that although strictly speaking this falls into the
defnition of detention too

You definitely don't need to disclose that.
 
Correct, unless you also want to disclose all the times you have interacted with any law enforcement officer including parking officers and the fire dept officers.
