BCIS online case status - when will it change?

Hello everyone:

I have a question about the BCIS online case status.
After the initial "application received" status, when will it
change again? Does it change after the finger printing is
cleared with FBI?
Or does it change only when the interview notice is sent?

Next change is that when the interview notice is sent out, the status disappears from the web site.
 
Does the status always change (or disappear) when the interview notice is sent out. There was a post here about
someone getting an interview call in March 04 but did still
saw the status unchanged.!
