I was following this forum for quite a long time and it becomes ever more obvious that namecheck is not something logical. It's not a process or algorithm as it tends to be presented.
Frequently it looks like the cases are placed in some sort of quarantine for a number of months or even years. Otherwise I cannot explain why WOMs trigger approvals so fast. Sometimes even plain inquiries help.
I cannot explain why screening of airline passengers takes minutes for the overseas flights but namecheck for immigration visas can take years. it's the same system!
