I want to invite my friend over for several weeks visit.
I heard lot of cases, parents/spouses visa got denied.
Does my friend have any chance to get visa?
Anyone has sililar experience?

(I will sponser her of course.)

Depends on where she will be applying for the visa. If she is single, young and educated then it will be difficult for her to prove that she will return.
What is her country of residence/citizenship?

thanks for the reply

She is in China/Chinese.
And she is married, one very young daughter, not working. (didn't go to college)
Can she even apply for B-2? Or B2 just for relatives?

B2 is the visitor's visa. She can apply but I see a VERY SLIM chance. Is she coming with her daughter?

No. She will come by herself.

She is my best friend, I really just want show her around. Giving her a nice vocation.

For what kind reasons she will get visa denied?

Some or all of the following will help:

1. She is not bringing her daugther along.

2. She can prove that she has a stable, good career with good salary in China.

3. She can prove that she owns a good house in China and have a comfortable life there.

4. She can prove that she has a lot of close relatives (immediate families) in China.
