Automatic Citizenship for children under 18

My wife, I and my 2 kids that are under 18 years old are green card holders. Do I need to apply for citizenship for my whole family or just for my wife and I? Are my kids getting the citizenship automaticaly?

Just you and your wife need to apply for N-400.

Apply N-400 only for yourself and your wife. But after that is approved, you should apply for a US passport and/or N-600 for your kids so there will be proof of their citizenship.

If u want to spend another $ 600 apply N600 for yr kids. Otherwise, just ignore that and have them US passports whihc are more than enough. As a secondary prrof, you will anyhow have your kids GC as a proof that your kid entered as valid GC holder and then he got citizenship thru child citizenship act through his aparents...

DONT spend $ 600 on N600 . INstead give that to some CHARITY....... My 2 cents....
