Wifey and I got our approval emails today. It was quite a ride but finally is over. Haven't sunk in yet - will probably take sometime to get used to not checking CIS website for status
Thanks to everyone here - I won't even begin trying to mention all the names as it would require an ode of a post. This is a great forum with excellent participation from learned and newbies alike and I do intend to continue hanging out here..
I have updated rupnet. Here is a summary:
1. Labor: filed early 2002, approved 8/2002
2. 140 filed: 8/2002 (CP option)
3. Company started having troubles in 10/2002. Convinced them to lemme file 485 (took 3 months to convince)
4. 485 filed: 1/2003
5. FP1/EAD1/AP1: 3/2003
6. Left sponsoring employer: 7/2003 (little over 180 days) and joined new employer 8/2003
7. EAD2/AP2: 1/2004
8. AC-21 (informed proactively): 2/2004
9. EAD3/AP3: Applied 10/2004 received 1/2005. This probably triggered FP2
10. FP2: Scheduled 12/2004 but got done early (11/2004)
11. RFE (employment since last lawful admission): Received 12/2004, Replied 2/2005 (had to wait for new w2)
12. Both wife and I approved: 3/2005.
