Do I need both? PCC - from RPO and Consulate General of India - NY

I\'ve PCC from Consulate General of India - NY and not planning to get from RPO. Someone mentioned that PCC from CGNY is enough..
Please suggest, if required both or ?

PCC from NY consulate good. No need at all from RPO. You are good with NY Consulate PCC. That\'s fine.
If do not have then can get it from RPO , that will also serve same purpose.

Folks question..

I have noticed that after Pkt3 is sent to consulate it could take
45-90 days to get interview date (if you compare latency times for
different cases at cptracker.com)

Why is there such a wide variation ?

Also for NVC case creation, the time is varying ?

Any ideas, suggestions, comments ?

Reason of delay

There is a cut-off date and all the pkt-3 received before that cut-off date are considered for next interview schedule. For example, Say New Delhi\'s cutoff date is last day of every month. So if your pkt-3 is received and enetred on 30th January, it will be considered for the list to be declared on Feb 15 and you may get a date from March 10 to April 10. Say you got March 10. It is about 40-45 Days.
Now, say your pkt-3 was eneterd by your consulate on 1st Feb. It won\'t be considered for the Feb list but shall be considered for March list(to be declared on March 15) and you may get a date from April 10 to May 10. Say you got May 10. It is about 90-100 days.

So, Best timing: 40-45 days
    Worst timing: 90-100 days.

Poor me. It took 90 days for me and so know this fact.
 
And then there is nothing much we can do anyway. We send it to St. Louis and

they send to NVC and NVC when feel like send it to consulate.

Is attorney certified I-140 (notice of action) enough or need original copy?

I\'ve requested for original but my attorney said the certified copy is enough... Any suggestions... Thanks in advance
 
April New Delhi Interview-VERY URGENT!

I have the PCC from the New York consulate.

Do I also need one from the local police station. Anyone tried only with the RPO/ consulate in US issued PCC. Is the 2nd PCC from the local police station a must?

My interview is in 2 days - please respond URGENTLY!!

I know some successfull cases that used single PCC.
I have interview on 15th and going with RPO / NYCG PCC only.

Anyone else?
 
PCC from CGNY should be good enuf

I was asked for "Aap new york consulate se bhi kuch laye honge"
during my interview on Feb 13" ;)
hope it answers ur question...
