AP and H-1B visa

I have a question concerning the H-1B visa application when I already have an AP.

It is possible that I might get security check. so in the case, can I still return to US using AP before the check is over?

Yes - you can re-enter on AP and still continue to work for the same employer on your H1B status.

Using AP does NOT impact your H status.

my concern is about whether AP can be used when visa is delayed by security check.

thanks but my actual concern is that I will apply for H-1B visa back in my own country later this month and I worry that the visa might be delayed by security check.

So in this case, am I allowed to return to US using AP before the security check for H-1B visa is over and then return to my country to pick up the visa?
