AOS laid off + company responsibility?

Hi all,
If I am laid off while on EAD+AOS, is my company still responsible for paying for my expenses to move back home? I know this can be asked for in the H-1 case, not sure if it's applicable for the EAD case.

I am not lawyer, but as I understood GC is for future job, so if future job doesn't happen, then I don't think it's your employer responsibilty for paying expense for your move back.

As compare to h1 is for current job, so if they terminated project or emplyerment in between then it's thier responsibilty to pay for the expense for the employee move back to home country.
