AOS and DS-230

I got this email from the NVC:

Dear Sir/Madam:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

We received the Affidavit of Support Processing Fee payment(s) for this
case. You must now download and complete the Affidavit of Support
form(s). Please visit the following website to download the appropriate
Affidavit of Support form(s) and instructions:

We received the Immigrant Visa Processing Fee Payment(s) for this case.
You must now download and complete the Immigrant Visa Application for
the principal applicant and each derivative applicant that will
accompany him/her to the United States. Please visit the following
website for instructions on how to obtain and submit the Immigrant Visa
Application:

If a period of one year passes from the last date of contact with the
NVC (by telephone, mail, or email), all submitted fees and documents
will expire. If this occurs, your fees will need to be repaid and
documents will need to be resubmitted in order to continue the
immigration process.

My question is this: I know I need to fill out the AOS form and send it back. Should I also fill out the DS-230 form and send it to them or to my Mother I'm confused here. Guys, help me.
