I need any kindly suggestion for my EAD problem.
My aslylum case was approved on April 20 this year, but I didn't receive EAD card from asylum office. I sent them mail and fax twice without any reply, so I had to go to the asylum office this morning to find out more information, I was told that my EAD card was mailed to me on April 22, and the asylum office didn't receive any returned mail, we checked the mailing address, it is correct.
The officer told me that I have to apply replacement card from USCIS district office, and I had to pay the fee. I called the USPS office in my area, the post office staff said they couldn't trace the mail because it was not registered mail.
What should I do next? I really don't want to pay $340 for this replacement EAD card .
